I know some people who are miserable, and if you ask them "what have you been up to?" they says "nothing" We reap what we sow, we're responsible for ourselves; of course, life has challenges and it's not always easy, but attitude is what shape our life, being active in the community uplift our mood, and we meet new people along the way.

It could be step by step, it doesn't have to be big thing, but when it's done with love, the richness of that small gesture of help, goes a long way.

Sometime I tell a construction guy "you're doing a good job" thumb up.

Praying is the same thing; it has the power to change the course of our history, because it's that powerful. But how many people have said "I'm a good person, I don't need to pray" (I've heard that often in my own family) I think it's unfortunate, because then not much will change in their life.

But you're right, being involved a bit in the community is a great way to BE a good person, and not just sitting on our ass.
