“Forgiveness is above all a personal choice, a decision of the heart to go against the natural instinct to pay back evil with evil.” Pope John Paul II
I have writing about this topic in the past on the posting entitled “Why Must the Good Die Young?”. But I do feel it is a very important topic to cover once again. One of the greatest gifts God has giving us is the ability to forgive others for doing us wrong. As Pope John Paul II said, forgiveness is something we choice to do, it is of our free will, and it is a decision of the heart. In a recent posted I wrote entitled “Did Jesus Encounter A Gay Couple”, I discussed in the book ‘What the Bible Really Says About Homosexuality’ by Daniel Heminiak where Mr. Heminiak wrote about the centurion and his slave boy. According to Mr. Heminiak, he suggested that the relationship between the centurion and this slave boy may have been sexual in nature. He suggested this could have been a homosexual relationship and that Jesus encountered this couple.
I would first like to thank all those who took the time to leave me a comment and provide some answers to the questions I wrote. They did help me in better understanding a few things. Please check out the preview post to see the questions and comments I am talking about here.

A few years ago I purchased a book called What the Bible Really Says About Homosexuality by Daniel A. Helminiak, Ph.D. The book is written in a gay friendly manner and explains some alternative thinking to what the Catholic Church teaches on the subject of homosexuality. Mr. Daniel A. Helminiak is a respected theologian and Roman Catholic priest (Taken from the back of the book). I’m not writing this article to question the Catholic Church teachings on Homosexuality, I’m writing it to get others perceptive on what Mr. Helminiak wrote on this topic.
